This year, we will dedicate our almsgiving as a parish to a spiritual project: "REBUILD MY CHURCH". A portion will be directed to the poor neighbors in social outreach ministry, and the rest will be to replace our TABANACLE and overall renovations/maintenance. Preserving the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest thing that God has entrusted to our care. So, we must make it a much safer place.
Almsgiving is a charity that we do for others in different forms. It could be helping the poor and sacrificing to benefit others or to build God’s kingdom and help rebuilding His physical Church as well. We cannot accomplish this dream of St. Francis without your help and contributions. We are made out of a spiritual soul and a physical body as well and we are the reflection of The Church. The Church also contains The Spirit of God and also the Body of God that is in the Eucharist and the Church building.
As Christians, we are called to protect and build up God's Church.
What the Rebuild My Church Funds will go towards?
Our beautiful home and parish is currently in ruins. God called us to Rebuild His Church. The funds will be split up into 3 ministries and priorities that will help our home flourish not just in a physical sense but also in a spiritual sense as well.
1. Replacing Our Tabanacle and Building a Perpetual Adoration Altar for Worship.
2. Maintenance and Church Renovations of Parish Center, Roof, Church Signs, Mt. Carmel Hall, and Station of the Cross.
3. More spriritual enrichment projects and Media Outreach Ministry "M.O.M" (setting up online streaming for mass)
